Thanks to all those who have contributed to my chosen charity ‘Gets Kids Going’, greatly appreciated, I passed my target late yesterday so a great way to set me on my way as Dorina & I travel to London later today. Holiday in the Alps & Italy (thankfully the house was not too badly damaged during a recent break-in) now over I confirm that I have been a good boy & ran over 50 miles

My apologies for my silence on this great race since the day itself, you will be forgiven for assuming I had a disastrous race & have been hiding beneath a stone ever since. The reality is a little different, for one thing my silence was dictated by a crashing of my computer the day after the race & it being out of action until after my return from Italy earlier this week. Tour of Britain passes through Capel Curig

Just in case there is anyone out there who is not aware Wednesday 18th September will see cycling’s Tour of Britain fly past Capel Curig at circa 3:15 p.m. I believe a rolling road block will be in place so if you want a great view point of the riders speeding down the straight aim to get to the Café before the road block, park up & secure a picnic table place with a cup
